Life Long Learning
As my time as a UBC teacher candidate comes to a close, I see this experience not as the ending of my education, but the beginning of it. Becoming a teacher is not just about educating children, it is about learning from children and learning for children. I will never stop learning because there will never be a time where new teaching strategies or ideas will cease to exist.

- Working with children with special needs
- Collaboration with other educators
Ways I intend to do this:
- Continuation of my website on inclusion for ASD children in the classroom: a brief description of this website can be found here.
- Maintaining a blog on different children's books, stories and authors that I use and would like to use in the classroom
- Keeping up-to-date with literature published in the education community: look at my reading wishlist
- Attending training sessions and professional development seminars
- Talking with other educators within my school and throughout the district and education community
- Constant reflection on my teaching
